SWCB Signs Cooperative Agreement with NPUST

In order to improve the nation’s expertise in soil and water conservation in Taiwan, the Soil and Water Conservation Bureau (SWCB) worked with National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST) on the planning and establishment of international demonstration sites for soil and water conservation, the R&D and promotion regarding slopeland protection technologies, the establishment of think tanks, international cooperation, slopeland management and the investigation on resources in rural communities. Both parties signed a cooperative agreement in NPUST on July 5, 2016, in the hope of combining academic theories with practical application, and achieving specific goals together, including talent cultivation, academic innovation, achievement sharing and international exchanges.
